‘ Punto e basta ‘, it’s the first record by Tabacco Bruciato, a musical project created by Giorgio Cazzola, an editor and cabaret ex-author. Tabacco Bruciato is named after the typical colour of many vintage guitars: Tobacco Sunburst.
CD contains eleven songs, composed by Giorgio Cazzola, inspired by overseas songwriters’ musical tradition, ranging from blues to rock and country. All lyrics are related to daily life and, in some cases, pretty ironic. Musical performance is assigned to The Machine Rhytm Section, a blues band from Piedmont, made up by Giacomo Lampugnani at the bass, Stefano Resca at the drums, Andrea Manuelli at the keyboards along with enfànt prodige guitarist Matteo Cerboncini, singer Maribel Fracchia, and percussionist Silvano Arecco. Special Guests are harmonica player Jimmy Ragazzon and Alfredo Minutoli, an actor and cabaret comedian who wrote and sung the lyrics of “Ronda del Galbiati”: the song is inspired by Minutoli’s comic character: “Lega Nord” party’s fundamentalist member, become succesful during 2008 edition of Zelig, an italian tv show.
